• Interdisciplinary Talk by all scholarship winners (3:00 – 5:30 pm)
• Convention Gala (starting at 6 pm)

The Lisa Lu Scholarship is dedicated to recognizing and nurturing outstanding students in the realms of art, including cinematic art, film directing, music, and media among others. This distinguished scholarship honors approximately three students every year. Established in 2020, this scholarship is sponsored by the Lisa Lu Foundation (盧燕基金會) and is managed by Chinese-American Engineers and Scientists Association in Southern California (CESASC).

The scholarship is open to all students engaged in the arts, including those at the undergraduate, graduate, and high school levels. Each recipient of this award is granted $1,000, aimed at supporting their academic and artistic endeavors. While the scholarship has historically seen a significant proportion of its awardees being Chinese students from Southern California, the scholarship is open to students of any citizenship, location and ethnicity. However, awardees should be able to attend the Interdisciplinary Talk and the CESASC’s convention in Los Angeles in order to receive the award. The CESASC 2026 convention will be held on April 25th at Hilton Arcadia (123 W Huntington Dr, Arcadia, CA 91007).
